Ethan and other things have kept us so busy recently that the blog has obviously been neglected. Can't promise that post will be any more frequent, but I will try. Here are some things about Ethan these days- He is obsessed with candles, really likes the book "Papa, will you get the moon for me?" and in turn looks up to the sky for the moon. He likes to see his (and others) belly buttons, has been working on some 2 year molars for over 2 months now causing him (and I) to lose precious sleep. It's so hard to be up during the night when you expect to sleep! Then when one thing seems to get better, the weather changes and boom-a cold, fever, snot, cough, and then a huge canker sore that hurts so bad he won't eat. And it's only the beginning of winter! Ethan recognizes his family and friends in pictures and gets excited to see them. We were able to see a lot of relatives recently over thanksgiving which we are thankful for.
Ethan loves to sing. He especially likes twinkle twinkle little star, skip to my Lou, BINGO, and the ABC song. He's always requesting to listen to tunes. He sees letters and colors and randomly says "E" or another letter but they are rarely correct. Purple however is consistent.
It's little man's bedtime, so this blog is coming to a close. Our bedtime routine includes prayers and then I say "Thank you Jesus for...." and Ethan fills in the blanks. Usually he says basketball, baseball, football, and all the other balls, but last night he said "forks" and then "spoons!" Ha! Lets all remember to be thankful for the simple things in life as well!
