Owen and I are at Miami airport waiting to fly home after our first true vacation in over TWO years. Thanks to Sara for planning such a wonderful birthday surprise for Paul. Our trip to Ireland last year was a trip but this was a vacation merely because Ethan got to stay home with his grandparents! We haven't heard all the details of their 5 days together except for updates via email but as far as we know all went well! Our vacation would not have been possible without their child are services and words cannot express our thanks! May have to become a yearly tradition!
This was our 3rd cruise but first on Carnival. Any ship that cooks, cleans, pampers, entertains, and provides a sun deck is good enough for me! They use a vita-mix so the blended drinks were obviously amazing. Rude awaking coming as we land in 1-3 inches of snow today. Boo! Can't wait to see our little man as I'm sure he grew an inch while mom and dad were away! Maybe we'll take Ethan along next time, although we'd need a "nanny" (any takers?) ;)
