Bethlehem

We went to Bethlehem twice this year! First the Bethlehem marketplace at United Methodist church in palatine  where Ethan made a rope, mulled some spices, made a raffia angel, rang a gong, imprinted leather, made a dreidel game, and ate hummus, dried apples, and fudge. It will be an annual activity since we didn't use our "roman coins" for the candle dipping or basket weaving. Gavin hung out content  in the ergo.

Making rope with yarn.
Mulling spices.
Ethan's boy angel.
Ringing the gong.
Live nativity at the end of our trip to Bethlehem marketplace.

We attended the innkeepers dinner at out church where we were guests in the inn when Mary had baby Jesus in the stable. It was well done and fun for the whole family. It was fun to reminisce about Gavin as  baby Jesus last christmas!
