Owen was able to do a job in Washington while we were visiting so my sister in law and I took the kiddos on the ferry! We met my brother there and drive to a state park where the kids played on a playground and walked along the shore while Gavin slept in the car. Then before getting back on the ferry we stopped for an ice cream treat. It was really cold out on the deck but nice views of the city and sunset on the way back. Yes, sunsets do actually happen in Seattle. We had great weather by the way, unseasonably warm for there and about 30 degrees warmer than the weather at home.
