For the love of FOOD.

As you can probably tell by Ethan's size- he likes to eat. He opens his mouth when he sees to spoon coming and eats 2 solid food meals per day usually between 11-12 and then between 1700-1800. We'll add a third meal in a few months. There's nothing that he has refused to eat and really doesn't make funny faces when he tries new foods. His favorites so far- sweet potatoes, avocado, peas, and all the fruits (banana, mango, peach, plum, pear so far). He says "mmmmm" when he like something and smiles real big. Sometimes we get sprayed with broccoli or whatever because he thinks it's funny to blow raspberries with food in his mouth. Just this past week he started scrunching his nose and blowing out like he's pouting, but he does this and then smiles. It's pretty funny. He also sounds like a goat sometimes when he makes a 1/2 laugh and 1/2 hum noise. We love listening to him. Naps have been optional in Ethan's mind lately and we're not sure why. He sleeps through the night without problems, but during the day sleep has been 0-3 naps, which is a little odd because he had a pretty good routine going for awhile. He's not fussy even when he doesn't nap, so we are thankful for that. His bedtime keeps getting earlier and earlier since he's exhausted at the end of the day.
