Hands and Fans

Ethan recently discovered his hands and they are always in his mouth! I have a feeling he will find his thumb soon and become a thumb sucker. Things are going better with his feedings and he seems to be getting the right balance of foremilk and hindmilk now which makes for less gas and a happier baby. Ethan also loves to stare at ceiling fans- on or off. Put him near one and he just stares away! He can see the fan from his swing so he alternates between "talking" to his toys and staring at the fan. Yummy hands!
Yep, there's a ceiling fan in view!

He is getting cuter by the day with all the little things he "says." He does a lot of goo, ga, awwwh, eh, heh, and many more that I don't know how to spell. He is just so cute when he has conversations with us or whatever happens to be in front of him.

The second trip to the chiropractor was another success. She said he kept the first adjustment and didn't need another one. She said over stimulation is huge at this age and that might be why he all of the sudden crashes and gives off his "I'm tired" cry so. He will be smiling one minute and the next -crying. He settles down pretty easily being swaddled and singing to him.
He has been sleeping at night in his crib and naps in the bouncer. We are experimenting with what time he wants his bedtime to be at night. Last night it took 3 tries to put him in bed without him waking up and crying but after eating at 9pm he finally fell asleep until 3:20 am!
