6 months!

How can 6 months go by it what seems like a blink of an eye??? It's hard to believe our baby is already 1/2 a year old! Here is all about Ethan at 6 months.

Activity-
Ethan is sitting unassisted and without falling over (very much). Once in awhile he'll lose his balance, but overall he is very strong and balanced. If he's not sitting he's laying down eating his toes or wiggling around. He still has not rolled over! When he's just hanging out in the bumbo or car seat you'll find him doing ankle circles. It's so cute- round and round he goes! He stands with us holding on to him. We force him to have tummy time and while he's not on his knees yet he will push of your hands to get closer to his toys and "rake" them towards him. When Ethan is gets a little fussy Owen puts him in the bumbo and puts him in front of the sliding door so he can look outside. He is content like that for at least 10 minutes!

Language & PLAY
Ethan makes all sorts of noises including belly laughs! I've heard the following, "lalala" "bababa"
"th th th" "dadada" "mmmm." Ethan likes to play with this barnyard toy that makes noise when you push a button. He puts everything in his mouth. He loves being in the stroller for a walk or jog. SO many people comment on how mellow he is when we're hanging out.

Sleep
Ethan's goes to bed closer to 8pm instead of 9pm now and sleeps until between 7 and 8 am. He may squawk once or twice but only wakes up if he's peed through his clothes! He naps about 4 hrs total during the day. His morning nap has changed to be only 1 hour but usually takes 2 shorter or 1 more longer nap in the afternoon.
