Owen has lots of deadlines and mentioned he'd need to get work done this weekend. Generally, he gets more done when either he is out of the house or me and the boys are gone. So we made an impromptu trip to Wheaton, Winfield, and Glen Ellyn to have fun with the Erickson's!
First we saw Bob and Larry at a grand opening at a Christian bookstore. Then we went to Cosley Zoo (of note- Owen designed the parking lot when he worked for ERA). For dinner we headed to 2Toots a cute diner where a real model train delivers your basket of food. The children had a great time. Thanks to Laura and Dave for letting us come play! Owen had a productive day so it was a win win!
